On Saturday, October 11, Inter-Religious Action Network members joined neighbors, friends, and other community members at different projects in the Washington County area for a day of tree-planting, litter cleanup, invasive removal, public area improvement and more - all to help make the area a better place to live for all.

Walk for Unity

The 4th Annual Washington County Walk for Unity was held on Sunday, September 7. Approximately 300 people attended the event.

2008 Community Faith Forum

On Wednesday, April 23, the Inter-Religious Action Network sponsored our annual Community Faith Forum entitled The Faith Community Confronts Violence: Empowering Washington County to Address Violence in Homes, Schools, and the Community. Over 70 people attended the program, held at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.

Participants attended 2-hour workshops on the topics of domestic violence, violence in schools, and hate crimes.
